Hi, Hot Dog Helen here! As you know, June was Pride Month. Pride month is the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and 2 Spirit people as a social group. What a great thing to celebrate!
Although Pride Month is over that does not mean you should stop celebrating. We should be proud about our LGBTQ2+ community everyday of the year. In my opinion Pride is a part of my life everyday of the year. I am a strong ally and supporter of the community and I’ve dabbled with a few hamburgers sure.
Anyways, we need to respect and appreciate each other’s differences. It’s what makes the world such a great place to be in. So remember just because Pride Month is over it doesn’t mean we stop celebrating.
